Currently has an automatic transmission but I have the original rebuilt Hurst 4 speed.
The car has a hand control but that can easily be removed.
I have had the car over 25 years.
The car is in very good condition.
It does have a few blemishes you can see from the pictures.
I will give you a little background on the car.
The 4 speed was originally in the car when I bought it.
It had just been rebuilt.
It had about 10 thousand miles on it when my back went out on me.
I had surgery and wound up in a wheel chair.
So I put a turbo 350 automatic in it with a stall convertor and a shift kit.
That has done real well for the last 20 thousand miles.
I still have the original 4 speed and console and parts.
The nice thing about the 350 automatic is I did not have to change out
the drive shaft or any mountings.
The 4 speed should drop right back in.
That is when I put the hand control in it.
So I could still drive it.
Once the hand control is removed it will look stock again.
I have all the parts.
Nothing was cut up.
The motor has a larger cam, aluminum Edelbrock manifold and Holly carb.
It is very healthy.
Everything else is original.
It has a small trans leak from the automatic that has been there for a while.
Nothing too bad, just a few small drips after a long drive.
Rear end is original Positrack with all original gears.
Everything works on the car.
All electrical works great.
Fans, blinkers, lights, gauges.
I have never had any electrical issues.
Original AM FM radio works.
Has the 8 track as well.
I had to have a switch put on the 8 track to turn it on since the original switch when out.
AC is new, New hoses and compressor.
Switched it to the R232.
The clock on the gauges does not work but that is typical.
Front suspension is very tight.
The undercarriage is filthy.
The car had originally been undercoated so that is probably what saved it from rusting.
But it is flaking and has surface rust on things. and my intentions was to have it cleaned,
painted and coated.
Brakes are disc in front drum in back.
Just had the brakes redone including new drums.
The headliner was redone,
The front seats have been re-upholstered to the original.
I don't have the original wheels; however, The tires are practically new.
The car was professionally stripped and painted.
It was not a frame off but it was close.
Took just about everything off the car possible to paint it right.
Exhaust is new.
It sounds great.
I have noticed there is a slight vibration when I get out on the freeway.
I think one of the wheals is out of balance.
It has a small bit if rust on the back passenger quarter panel
behind the wheel as you probably saw from the pictures.
The emergency brake cable broke and I never had it replaced
since I can't use it anyway.
It has always been in the garage and never driven in the snow or ice or hardly rain for that matter.
I love the car and hate like crazy to sell it but some things have come up
and I need the money.
