The car offered here is a superb example of the 1966 model year Mustang. Owned for many years by a local Southern California lady, the car was renovated by her with little consideration for cost. The car comes complete with a 3-ring binder of receipts for work carried out on the car over the past. In its original Springtime Yellow, the car shows well with its $6,000 paint job of a few years ago, on panels with excellent fit, as can be seen in the photograph. I would guess that the car has never been in an accident. The exterior sports excellent chrome, glass and wheels with good tires. The interior is also excellent, having been fully renovated at the time of the paint job. Seat surfaces, dash and carpet are all excellent, as is the headliner. Mechanically, the car is superb. The previous lady owner fully renovated the drivetrain. She then sold the car to a local car collector/enthusiast, who bought it as a gift for his wife. Having owned the car for a couple of years, it has been perfectly maintained with regular oil changes and sparse, and careful use. The 200ci six- cylinder engine runs perfectly, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly, the brakes, suspension and steering all work as they should. The electrical system works perfectly, including the very rare original factory option of 4-way hazard warning lights, operated from a switch in the glove compartment. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car, even on the underside.
