This car won "Best Interior" at the last show and "Best of show in class" (60's hot rod) at the show before that. Must see pics of interior! Body: The body and paint four years old. PPG Torch Red acrylic urethane. The trim is all original and in very good condition. The bottom of the car is solid and has been undercoated and painted. All weatherstripping has been replaced. It has the 4" cowl induction hood on it now, but I have the stock hood too. Always garaged and covered. Interior: The dash, seats, trunk, door and side panels have been done in Doeskin synthetic leather with very nice flames stiched in. The dash retains all the original knobs, and original speedometer. Still have the original am radio but just installed a complete Custom Autosound stereo (in dash head unit, kick panel and dash speakers). It's upgraded with Auto Meter Sport Comp gauges and tachometer below dash and a billet steering wheel. New carpet kit. Drivetrain: 327 CI small block, World Products Sportsman II heads and roller rockers. Clay Smith cam, Edelbrock RPM intake and a Holley 4160, 600 cfm carburator. MSD distributor, Sanderson ceramic-coated headers BeCool aluminum radiator Level II, BowTie Overdrives 200-4R AOD trans, 2300 RPM stall, narrowed 9 inch posi rear with 3.70 gears. Chassis: The front and rear suspension have been completely rebuilt. Lower control arm lock-out kit and roller bearing idler arm, both necessities on these early Novas. Disc brakes with drilled rotors in the front. 2-inch dropped springs in the rear. 17 inch American Torque Thrust II's wrapped in Falken tires, 215/45ZR17 front and 275/40ZR17 rear. This car is a lot of fun to drive, very reliable and receives compliments everywhere it goes. All lights and turn signals work, as does the heater blower, windshield wipers, horn, and cigarette lighter.
