 Factory Five Racing MK III. Professionally built by Baysport, a road racing and performance car builder since 1972. Owner is deceased. Builder is selling for estate. No expense spared, all new parts, only 1,500 "grandma" miles. California SB100 smog exempt. Color is Jaguar radiance red with slightly darker phantom stripes. Paint by Jeff Miller, nationally known Cobra painter. Body has all cockpit edges rolled and hood scoop extended. No rough edges. Steel frame Cobra seats from Sube Sports. Full Dynamat interior insulation, and high quality black carpet, by Bill Dunn Interiors, of Overhaulin' fame. Wheels are Halibrand replicas custom made to clear the extra large brakes by Team III Wheels. Fronts are 17x8 and rears are 17x9.5. Front tires are 245/45R17 BFG T/A and rears are 285/40R17 BFG T/A. Car has power assisted rack and pinion steering and Hydroboost hydraulic power brakes. Brakes are extra large Mustang Cobra R brakes with 13" front rotors, 11" rear. Wilwood proportioning valve. Engine is a new crate 351W GT40 from Ford Motorsport rated at 410 hp. Aluminum heads and intake with Holley 670 cfm carb, MSD distributor and 6AL spark box with rev limiter. FF ceramic chromed Hooker side exhaust headers. Ceramic coated satin black sidepipes. McLeod bellhousing and clutch assembly. New Tremec TKO 600 5 speed close ratio trans with o/d 5th. Rear end is Ford 8.8" with 3.55 ratio, reinforced cover, and limited slip. Bilstein coil over shocks front and rear. 3 link rear suspension option. Engine front drive is custom made toothed belt with polished pulleys and brackets. All engine room hoses, and fittings, are stainless steel braided lines. Custom AFCO aluminum radiator, custom made Moon tanks. Runs cool and consistent at 90C. Full Simpson 4 point 3" harness tied to roll bars. Full trunk carpet with drycell Odyssey battery with on-board charging system. Vintage Air heater installed under dash. Clear plastic custom "bra". Car comes with 2 car covers and a tonneau cover.
