 VIN# 21867L206241 This 1962 Impala Super Sport Convertible was driven on a regular basis until 2004. A well cared for survivor; it was stored properly and is now available for sale after a 7 year slumber. Purchased in 1963 by the 2nd owner with only a handful of miles, it now has 137,200 miles or about 3700 per year until 2004. It was always babied by its loving lady Realtor and her sole mechanic. It has been garaged since new. A gorgeous Super Sport, it is all original with a 283 cid V8 2V and Powerglide transmission with bucket seats and center console. Being a Super Sport, it has all the appropriate emblems and features the SS passenger grab bar. There were only 99,311 Super Sports made in 1962. A small percentage of them were convertibles. At this point, the interior is all original and looks great for a survivor of its caliber and there is a new interior that has not been installed.
