The original owner's innovations made the car way ahead of its time mechanically and aerodynamically. With a restoration stretching from 1992 - 2005, the objective was to build a winning/reliable vintage road racer that honored the car's heritage, while complying with the restoration desire of the original owner and the needs of the current owner. Both agreed to the eventual resto/update. Incredible documentation from the original builders/owners includes dozens of photos documenting the car from the time it was purchased, through the building of the car, and color photos taken on the salt flats and in the Oakland Roadster Show. In addition, there are home movies, Bonneville programs, magazine and newspaper articles and the authentic brass Bonneville tags in the car.
