This vehicle was built to test and develop the ProTorque s line of Pro Drive Lock-up Series converters in street performance applications. The body remains all steel with a stunning Pewter color custom paint job. All the chrome on the car is immaculate and very tastefully done. It has a complete custom interior done in hues of grey, with a custom console, AC, A custom sound system, Engine turned, laser cut dash board. The trunk is also fully upholstered in a matching grey. The power comes from a tire smoking LS1, fuel injected motor, backed by a 4l60e overdrive transmission with a ProTorque 2400 stall converter. The exhaust is stainless steel thru out. The power is tranferred back to a 9 Inch Ford Rear End, housing 3.73 gears by a custom built heavy duty drive shaft. 4 wheel disc brakes reside at all 4 corners to provide excellent stopping capabilities via a set of Polished 17x8 Torque Thrust wheels mounted with low profile tires. A Mustang II front clip complete with rack and pinion steering adds to the ride quality. Air Ride Technology supplied the suspension components to elevate the ride quality to luxury car standards. The Bad Baker also has a full alarm system and remote entry control, and full instrumentation. The complete restoration of this outstanding automobile only has 9,000 miles since it was built.
