Much more Rare than the Hornet as Hudson made just over 45,000 of the Hornets in 1951, but only 16,000 or so of the Commodores. Mileage is under 60k ORIGINAL Miles, 6 Cylinder Motor, 3 Speed Manual Transmission With Shifter On The Column, Recently Converted to 12 Volt To Include the Replacement of the Complete Wiring Harness and Installation of LED Taillights behind the original lens which are amazing in looks and safety! Air Conditioning Compressor is Installed in Engine Bay tied in with the belt system. All that is left to do for the next guy is to buy/install the interior air conditioning blower and then connect the two. 4 row radiator installed upgrade from 2, 2 Speed Marine Grade Windshield Wipers Installed instead of vacuum. It has an Absolutely Beautiful Interior $14k in receipts and Engine Bay about $13k in the engine Bay Rework. Underneath, the Front End was Recently Cleaned Up and Looks Very, Very Nice. But from the transmission back it is pretty much original underneath so be expecting this. Underneath, the front, looks pretty, the back, not so much. With all of her beauty she is not a show car, but rather a driver. I had it brought up to fantastic running condition so that I could take it on long journeys. Have I done any of those planned journeys? Of course not. That is why I am selling this car along with another to buy my next toy. Some chrome pieces could use a dipping and there are some small paint chips where the body panels meet. I believe the last maintenance piece is that the rear main gasket began leaking a bit and I am currently seeking remedy. At my local Hudson gatherings, usually this car is one of the nicest if not the nicest of the bunch. At all other car shows, it will always win the award as no other Hudsons are in the lot! Original Window Sticker In Hand Along With Original Warranty Card, Original Manual, and Many Original Documents, Letters and Post Marked Envelopes between the Original Owner and The Hudson Motor Corp. What's left for the next guy to tinker with? The heater Quit Working When I Switched to 12 Volt, But We Have Confirmed That The Motor Still Works. We Think it's a Bad Dash Switch. The Spot Light on the A-pillar Needs a 12 Volt Bulb and The Wire Hanging Under the Dash Connected. The Radio Is Not Connected Nor Do I know if it works. It Needs an Alignment As The Car Pulls to the Right A Bit. The Bushings In The Rear Sway Bar Need Replacing. Fuel Gauge does Not Read Above 1/4 Tank, But Does Work from 1/4 Tank Down. Speedo Sticks in The Glass and The Dash Clock Is Not Connected. But The Dash Lights Do Work.
