 I planned on restoring the car when I purchased it about 6 years ago but I found a nice 1965 Chevelle and restored that instead. I purchased the car from a Lawyer in California who said his mother owned it all his life? I was not able to prove or disprove his story. He promised me a lot of paperwork that he never delivered so the car's history is a mystery. The car is in Chicago, IL now and in a storage facility, For the past year. Prior to that it was in my attached garage. The odometer shows approximately 56,000 miles but I suspect the odometer has rolled, again, not sure. There were no brakes when it was delivered to my house and I could not gain entry to the trunk. I recently replaced the 6v battery and had keys made so I could open the trunk. Anyway, I've had the water pump replaced twice since I've owned the car and spent about $3,600 in repairs, once at the Cadillac dealer and the rest at a restoration house. I don't drive it that much so I'd rather sell it to someone who will enjoy the car. As far as I can see it is all original except for the paint.
