![]() With Blown Chevy Big Block Attention Getter! Let's be honest after looking at the photo, you're either in or you're out! There's not much middle ground here. This truck has an attitude! If you're the kind of enthusiast that thinks of your Hot Rod being heard before it ever comes around the corner, have I got the vehicle for you! The lope of the 671 blower on the 468 cubic inch engine announces itself well before the truck ever comes into view. When you do actually get to see what is making all of that wonderful noise, You'll see the Viper Red Urethane paint on an all steel 1938 Willys body that has had the firewall moved forward 10" to give the driver ample room to control this beast and not get leg cramps doing it! It has a 1-piece tilt front hood that exposes a sea of chrome and polished aluminum in the engine compartment. It has a custom built fuel tank and the headers were custom built as well with removable baffles for those "Open Header" moments. It has a 9" Ford Posi Rear End with 31 Tooth spline Currie Axles surrounded by 18" wide rear tires, rear mounted radiator & electric fans, and a Turbo 400 Transmission. The interior sports Charcoal leather and velour with Mercedes carpet. The gauges are all Autometer with the B & M Shifter completing the "Pro Street" cockpit feel. The Door and Rear Windows all roll down for some "Arm-Strong A/C" as we all know that real A/C would just be a power thief! The front brakes are SSBC Discs with a dual reservoir vacuum boosted master cylinder. There is also a SSBC vacuum pump installed as we all know this motor isn't producing much vacuum! This truck also has a history of being a Drag Racer named "Facetious" out of Las Vegas Nevada in the '50s and '60s. I'm including the original door from it's Drag racing days as well. If you like to be heard and seen, this truck is calling your name. It is a blast to drive and it's always fun being the center of attention! Wherever you stop; there's always a crowd wanting to check it out. I've got too many projects and too many Grandkids for a two seat vehicle nowadays. This isn't the first Willys I've built. I did everything right the first time on this project. You'd probably spend twice what I'm asking to build a duplicate and we both know it's impossible to recover expenses incurred in a "custom " built car. The value really is here. Give me a call and let's get this baby in your garage! Location: California, USA Call Jim at 661-832-4700 Or Email: jrolsen20@earthlink.net Thanks, |
