Custom brushed aluminum insert housing
A full complement of VDO Custom Gauges,
and rebuilt GM Tilt Steering Column
Topped with a Lecarra Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel.
The custom Tea's-design bench seat, door panels, kick panels,
and headliner are upholstered with rich Tan soft tweed fabric.
Custom wool carpet throughout was expertly installed.
Electrical Wiring Accessories are Controlled by a
Ron Francis Retro Series wiring kit and
Cabin Comfort is maintained by the Vintage Air Compact Gen. II
Heat & Cooling system.
Other Creature Comforts include: Power Steering,
Remote Trunk Release, and Seat Belts.
The owner will provide a meticulously maintained Build Record
with at least 80% of the receipts and service records.
This street rod also passed the voluntary, but rigorous
National Street Rod Association's (NSRA) 2014 safety inspection.
Engine and Driveline:
Every part of the GM 350 cu. in. Engine,
believed to be a 4 bolt main block,
is either new or rebuilt.
The heads were completely prepped with .194 hardened valves,
Mild Performance hydraulic cam,
Edelbrock Performer intake manifold,
Holley single pumper 600 CFM Carburator,
Flame Thrower Distributor,
1-wire 100 AMP Alternator,
Patriot Ceramic Coated "block hugger" Headers,
New Custom 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust system
with Flowmaster 50 Series mufflers.
Billet Specialties Polished Pulleys.
The transmission is a GM TH350 Unit with a shift kit.
A stock converter transmits power through a
New Custom-built steel driveline,
to a newly rebuilt Ford 8" Differential.
The Front Suspension Consists of a 4" Dropped Super Bell tubular axle
with 4-bar Suspension,
Flaming River Vega-style steering box.
Rear Suspension is coil over shocks with 4-bar suspension.
GM 11" Disc Brakes on Front with Drums in rear.

"Its days like today that I appreciate the power of the HAMB,
for years I have wondered whatever became of
one of my favorite Gassers.
It was a white, (with scallops) '34 Ford 5 window coupe,
and it ran C/G with an injected 283 Chev.
The car was called "goofin noff",
the owner/driver was named Jim Hoxit,
he belonged to the "Ramblers",
one of the top clubs in the area.
A couple of days ago I received an email from a fellow member (Chop-It)
telling me he bought it a few years ago.
He sent me these pics to post: #1 was taken at Woodburn in
1965, #2-4 show the condition at purchase,
and #5, is after the rebuild.
