 Approximately 74,149 original miles. This car is nearly all original, right down to the AM/FM 8-track player. I am the 2nd owner. I purchased the car in '87 with approx 38,000 miles Drove it until fall of '90 and it has been garage stored ever since. Now I need the room in the garage, so I decided it was time to let it go. This is a fun car to drive and handles great! 350cui 5.7L V8 engine with 4 barrel carburetor, 4-speed manual transmission (only 12% of Camaros built in '78 had manual transmissions) and posi-traction rear end. Power steering and power brakes, rear defogger, factory tilt wheel, factory hood and trunk light. It is white with orange trim and dark red interior, and stock sport wheels. It even has the original owner s manual, warranty information, air conditioning owners manual, spare, air canister to inflate spare, jack and keys. As I said, this car is nearly all original. I fixed a couple of minor rust spots 18 years ago and the headliner is currently being professionally replaced with material that matches the original. Besides that, everything is original, with the exception, of course, for the normal stuff like spark plugs, wires, battery ect. There is a little rust starting to show on the bottom outside corner of the driver s door and a little on the lower inside of the passenger s door where the skin is folded over. That is the only rust I can find. The engine runs well, but does have a little blow-by in the rear two passenger side cylinders. The interior is in excellent shape and very clean with just 1 tear in the driver s seat that was there when I bought the car. Floors and trunk are solid. This is one of the nicest late '70 s Z28's you are going to find. It starts, idles, runs, drives, and handles well, very clean, solid body and original interior.
