 VIN 1Z37J5S405935 The current owner titled the car in February of 2000, and at the time it was nothing more than a rolling chassis. Over the next few years, a rebuilt 350/350 drivetrain combination was installed, a variety of new steering and suspension components, new brake components to include master cylinder, vacuum booster and calipers, a new custom-fabricated exhaust system, and a new set of 4 Hoosier tires. The body was meticulously prepared, and then painted. On loan to me from the owner are a series of photographs detailing the car's partial restoration. The car was an excellent candidate for the project on account of its solid frame, good body, and clean, unmolested interior. The end result is very handsome, a great runner, and a good driver. The car has had little use since completion of the project, and is now in need of a new home. I offer the car for sale on behalf of the owner, a long-time friend of mine. The odometer reading is ~05000. Since the car has been in my possession, I've clocked more than 275 miles of driving. The car starts easily and runs well. It drives arrow-straight on the highway. There is some play in the steering, though this does not significantly affect the driving experience. Overall, a very sound and visually appealing automobile. Motor is fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley carburetor and ACCEL ignition system, a very reliable combination. Transmission shifts nicely, up and down. Body color is a medium blue, and it matches the interior nicely, which is light blue in color. The interior is in fine shape for its age, showing average wear, with no major imperfections. All gauges are functional, as well as the clock (speedometer, tachometer, fuel, temperature, oil pressure, alternator). Car is equipped with power windows and tilt/telescope steering column.
