1970 was a great year for Dodge!
A whole new line of performance cars had just hit the market.
The SCAT PACK included the: Dart Swinger 340,
Super Bee, Challenger, Charger, and Daytona!
This is a beautiful Challenger R/T with the SE package and
the 383ci with 4 BBL. engine.
The console-shifted automatic works effortlessly as it should.
All Challengers with the SE package had a smaller window
than the base model and R/T Challengers.
There was a plastic filler panel bolted around the
window frame and a smaller window was placed in.
All welds and bolts were hidden with a vinyl top!
NO SE came without a vinyl roof!
Most of the optional trim came standard on the SE.
Also, the SEs came with an overhead consolette
which houses warning lights and a dome light.
The door panels are also unique for the Special Editions.
The color is Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a
white vinyl roof.
The exterior is complimented with a white sport stripe,
a rear deck luggage rack and roof drip rail moldings.
The seats are high cloth and vinyl buckets
colored to match the exterior color scheme.
Options also fill the cockpit on this classic such as:
a music master radio, the Ralley instrument cluster
that includes variable speed wipers with electric washers,
tach, electric clock, heater control floodlight,
150 MPH speedo, woodgrain cluster applique,
and oil pressure gauge.
This specific Challenger has had it very good thoughout
the 35 years it has been around.
Mileage is a mere 18k, which is verified through an
odometer statement from the original/previous owner.
These original Mopars are not being overlooked by collectors.
This car will not be available long.
