1959 and Later

Picture of 1961 Chevrolet Impala Custom
1961 Chevrolet Impala Custom
California Custom style.
Never before have you seen or will you see again,
such an old school, really cool, custom, complete with genuine imitation
alligator interior & side trim that is sure to bring a smile to the face of anybody that sees it.
I can't go anywhere without getting stares, thumbs up, and compliments on just how cool
this unusual ride we call the Impalagator is.
Starting out for most of it's life in Oregon, this cool custom was built by a father & son and
the father formerly worked for the king of customizers, George Barris.
It then made it's way to Florida for 2 years and then to Ohio for the past year,
making this one really solid rust free Chevy that grabs attention wherever it goes.
Powered by a 400 inch tri-power Chevy hooked to a 350 turbo automatic with shift kit,
this beauty has all the power you will ever need.
We start with a 4 inch chopped imitation convertible top, louvered hood, Buick side trim,
7 foot custom skirts with Mercury chrome spears, custom lakes pipes,
' 59 Caddy taillights, Lincoln style continental, dual frenched antennas,
shaved handles with poppers, a custom imitation alligator interior and
side panels with a custom matched steering wheel,
a '53 Corvette grille, and more,
all covered with a deep gloss black base/clear paint which are just some of the custom touches
that will have this cool ride stand alone in a crowd.
You can drive this beauty across town, or
for an extended distance at 65 mph down the highway with pleasure as it purrs
down the road riding on four new Diamondback radial tires.
The 400 V8 engine runs nice and is mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission.
The car starts, drives, and stops well with front disc brakes and power steering,
and has no known issues.
The upholstery, headliner, & door panels are in great condition
with no rips, tears, or worn spots,
wipers, gauges, lights & signals work.
The paint shines up beautifully and the chrome and stainless are very nice.
Price: I would probably sell it for $22,900
but would consider partial trade for cool 30's or 40's street rod up to $15,000 in value.
Information Call Jack at 330-389-0456 if interested.
Car is located in Kent, Ohio USA.
