This 1956 Dodge is a product of Virgil Exner's design team called "The Forward Look". When you see it, what strikes you, though it will take some time for you to figure it out, is the long, gentle, sweeping arc stretching uninterrupted from headlight brow to tail light tip. And those headlights, unlike the previous year's Dodge and unlike those of Ford and Chevrolet are hidden from the side by forward-canted hoods. The taillights are hooded with a complimentary rearward cant. It gives the new Dodge a sense of being in forward motion even while standing still. The doors open and close with a solid thunk, not a hollow metallic whap like today's cars. The front grille is a handsome, massive affair, and it looks spectacular between those hooded headlights. Because of its "flight sweep" styling, this car draws a crowd. Selling for less than the amount invested, Price: $7,500. Location: North Carolina, USA Delivery available world wide.
